Join the CLC Community Garden, LaVale
Where: Christ Lutheran Community Garden, 1222 Vocke Rd. LaVale, MD. Claim a waist high wheelchair accessible bed or large raised bed! Tools, seedlings, and seeds provided, or bring your own! Gardeners are available most Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings throughout the summer to assist as needed. Unclaimed community beds will be planted to support the local food pantry. Beds are awarded on a first come first serve basis until all are claimed.
When: Planting begins with a Spring Cleanup and Planting Day, May2! Planting continues with Summer Planting Day, May 16! The opening of this year’s garden will be on June 6! Monthly gardening days are on the first Saturday of the month, except for July (which will be the second Saturday). All gardening days will begin at 9:00 am.
