The Israelite prophet Samuel grieves that their first king has forgotten God and gone bad. It seemed like such a good idea to have a king, like all the other nations. But they keep going bad. So, God speaks to Samuel. God has a better idea. God promises: I am going to do something new. Are we listening? Are we ready?
