In this story about a "Syrophoenician woman" who asks Jesus for help, we are disturbed by the thought of Jesus calling a someone a dog. But she responds in peace, "Even the dogs get the crumbs that fall from the table." Let's not be afraid to explore (and hopefully figure out) new ways of welcoming people to Christ's table.
