It begins with God making a rich feast with well-aged wine "for all peoples" (then repeats it: twice within the same verse). If we read back, quite a few words have been spent recounting the ways God has reached out to the people of God's heart, trying to get them to respond: punishment, pestilence, patience. We just aren't listening. As we've seen throughout the Scriptures, God keeps on healing, and restoring, and blessing, and waiting for us to come back. The promises are for today and the tomorrow, and the past has proven God ready to bless again and again and again.
