This is the familiar story of "The Prodigal Son". Every time we hear a story, we can identify with different characters in different ways. Which son was prodigal? Or was it the dad? Funny thing is, the dad went out to meet both of his sons - for different reasons. But the amazing thing is that he did! God comes out to meet each of us, too, wherever we are, and invites us in.
