The congregation voted to consider this new mission statement. We believe it celebrates the many gifts we all bring to the body of Christ.
“We believe that all people are created in God’s image and beloved by Jesus Christ.
Rooted in Jesus’ ministry of unconditional love, we strive to become a fully inclusive
community. Our welcome affirms those who have traditionally been marginalized in the
church and society due to their sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, racial
and ethnic background, physical ability, developmental ability,
citizenship/documentation status, or socio-economic status. We seek to be shaped and
changed by God through the Holy Spirit.”
