The Lord sustains the weary, wakens our ears to listen without rebellion, comforts us when we are insulted. But even more, the Lord helps us so we are not disgraced, not put to shame, not be guilty, so our enemies don't have a voice to confront us. We don't even see our adversaries, because God is near (vs. 8).
