Grief: This week in our beloved country, there are winners and losers. But we've lost sight of the Kingdom of God. John the Baptist spoke to a divided country, kind of like ours. He brought light to the situation. God's kingdom is not divided: our participation in God's kingdom is not determined by what stance we take on one political issue or another. The kingdom of God is made up of people whose hearts have been transformed by Christ. The power of the Spirit changes us to love our enemies.
