Sermon Notes

Love

We wouldn't be here today if the church hadn't been willing to have difficult conversations. One of the first conflicts known about in the early church was whether to allow Gentiles join (that covers most of us). Throughout history, difficut conversations and decisions in the church have led to new growth, new streams of justice being opened up, new communities being born that are characteristic of eternity. This is what God wants for the people of God, not stagnant pools. We follow a crucified and risen Christ in this life. Let's be willing to step into some tough places with love!
