Ephesians 2:19 "You are no longer strangers and aliens, but... members of the household of God." As followers of Christ, let's NOT spread the rhetoric of strangers and aliens, destroying and scattering (Jeremiah 23:1), dividing and hostility (Ephesians 2:14). God speaks hope into these lies. We can spread this rhetoric instead: no longer without hope (Ephesians 2:12); God says, "I myself with gather..." (Jeremiah 23:3); Christ reconciles humanity, putting hostility to death (Ephesians 2:16).
