We learned lessons about God from the baby. In the same way that Wesley makes us all smile - no matter what kind of day we've had, God has joy and delight in us. And how much? "Exceedingly abundandantly, above all we can ask or think..." (vs. 20 KJV) Rooted and grounded in God's love, we can dare to dream and ask and imagine (vs. 20 NRSV) to empower our lives for God's glory. It seems pretty straightforward, yet we all face heartbreak and pain. We're still rooted in God's love (vs. 17)
